Our Journey
Founded in 2012, Biorefinery Solutions (BRS) is an innovative Dutch agri-food company specializing in biorefining technologies. Until 2024, we operated a scalable R&D facility, analysing side streams to unlock their full potential.
Through production trials and collaboration with partners, we optimized extraction processes for industrial-scale applications. We developed mild extraction methods to preserve functional value, making ingredients ideal for food applications.
Since the beginning of our journey, sustainability is at our core: We support the circular economy by reincorporating side streams into the food chain. Since 2025, our upscaled facility is fully operational, ready to serve the market with a variety of high-quality ingredients.
